It was Sandra's spontaneous thought when she had tested tallow balm ordered long distance from the USA. The company was founded by Sandra in the middle of a burning corona pandemic. "Over there" tallow based skincare is a growing trend as many people experience its positive effects even on sensitive and damaged skin. Being able to use such a fine raw material from Sweden and get this nice effect on the skin laid the foundation for creating natural skin care and being able to offer tallow skincare in Sweden.

Water-free, additive-free and without emulsifiers, the products are among the most natural you can find, says Sandra. Animal sebum is almost identical to the fat composition of our own skin and is naturally rich in vitamins A, D, E and K. It is very similar to the “lubricant” that our own sebaceous glands produce. For the sake of the environment and our health, the founder wants to challenge the prevailing perception of what we believe is the right way.
Beef tallow is a by-product of slaughter that often becomes waste. No Bond Beauty wants to contribute to a new perspective in the circular economy by saving tallow as a raw material, reducing waste and spreading knowledge about the importance of animals for sustainability and a functioning ecosystem.

By utilizing sebum as humans most likely did through evolution, natural skincare is created from something that would otherwise be thrown away. The products are a contribution to new thinking and innovation in two industries. Today, most of the “natural skincare” on the market goes through advanced laboratories and expensive research. No Bond Beauty is convinced that this is not what nature intended.

There is currently no exact definition. We are part of the industry organization NOC, which represents producers and entrepreneurs who want to work with raw materials and products that are considered to be as natural as possible. For us, natural means something that is as little processed as possible and with as few or preferably no additives, thickeners, preservatives or anything else that can distort, change or remove the consistency, content or the raw material's natural properties and composition. Our products are based on several food-grade ingredients, with tallow and olive oil making up the largest amount in the finished product.

We consider it natural to be able to eat your skincare. Even more natural when it is a raw material that can be eaten in its natural state without being processed. We use ingredients and raw materials that are often classified as organic. We don't think that natural always means natural, but where it is possible to combine, we strive for organic. However, we have chosen not to buy the industry's certificates and labels to emphasize that it is organic. We strongly believe in telling you how we view natural and why we choose to call it natural. All our products are handmade in Sweden in our own production in our own premises just outside Stockholm. All products are registered within the EU's CPNP and meet NOC Sweden's criteria for natural skincare.

Sandra is the IT strategist and entrepreneur who found her way into the world of skincare through her education in nutrition and health. Tallow has a high level of saturated fat, which was a fat that Sandra, according to her dietary philosophy, had used for a long time. Sandra became aware of tallow as a skin care product in her social feeds and information almost 6 years ago. More people began using tallow as an alternative to coconut fat, which has long been popular in so-called natural skin care. After ordering products, Sandra began working with tallow herself and in 2021 the recipe and manufacturing were ready to be offered via her own webshop. Sweden's first tallow-based skin care had been founded!

Today, Sandra runs the No Bond Beauty brand but is a serial entrepreneur who is also active in strategic business development, digitization of school food. As a teenage mother, she is constantly driven by being able to educate and create healthier habits and food choices for the next generation of adults in a good way. Sandra can also call herself an author with the family book "Den friska maten för hela familjen - kostronauterna viser vägen" and has lectured and blogged about more nutritious food with a focus on children. The brand itself is a bit of a play on words as saturated fat has no double bonds and is therefore a stable and solid fat. At the same time, No Bond Beauty wants to dare to see raw materials and manufacturing from new perspectives. Fashion, cosmetics and food are industries that put a heavy burden on our environment. With our tallow-based products, we want to show that ruminant animals are needed in nature and that we can use so much more of the raw materials that are produced but are also processed in a kinder way towards animals and nature. This has inspired the brand and will always be a driving force in the development of No Bond Beauty.
